Alyssia completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University in 2011, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with concentrations in Criminology and Sociology. Alyssia graduated cum laude from Western University Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a certification in Family & Juvenile Law. During law school, Alyssia was a member of the Cooley Law Review and earned a Certificate of Merit in Advanced Writing and Pre-Trial Skills.
During law school, Alyssia worked as a senior law clerk at a well-known, local firm where she was responsible for legal research and drafting. In addition, she clerked for Judge Marla E. Parker in the 47th District Court in Farmington Hills. Alyssia was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2015 and is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Section, Hispanic Bar Association of Michigan, and the Women’s Bar Association. Prior to working for Hackney Grover, Alyssia worked at a fast paced, high volume, litigation firm handling multiple types of cases, but focusing in areas of No Fault and Bodily Injury Claims.
