Brendan Dennis’ eventual path to Hackney Grover began in the lecture halls at Michigan State University. Brendan graduated from MSU with honors in 2005. Following his undergraduate studies, Brendan stayed in East Lansing, graduating from MSU College of Law in 2009.
Immediately after law school, Brendan clerked for the Honorable David J. Newblatt at the Genesee County Circuit Court. He assisted with authoring numerous opinions, gaining an advantageous perspective from the other side of the bench. While in Flint, Brendan was also a member of the American Inns of Court, and a regular participant at local bar functions.
Prior to his joining the firm, Brendan practiced at Hewson & Van Hellemont, PC. His responsibilities ranged from securing pre-litigation statements to trying cases. During his four years there, Brendan built a strong reputation for staunch defense of his clients’ claims.
Brendan joined Hackney Grover in March 2016. Although he has a breadth of experience in many different areas of litigation, Brendan’s practice is primarily concentrated on first and third-party auto defense. He has a penchant for identifying and vigorously defending fraud in any given claim.
Away from the office, Brendan enjoys spending time with his son, Connor. He also is an avid sports fan and tech enthusiast.
