Brent R. Lockwood has been working in various capacities at law firms specializing in litigation since he graduated high school, gaining real world legal experience while also excelling in his study of the law. Supplementing his studies with hands on legal work, Brent has experience in a variety of fields, specifically automobile negligence litigation, insurance litigation, and commercial litigation.

Brent is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Brent graduated from Michigan State University College of Law in 2016, graduating magna cum laude. While at the Michigan State University College of Law, Brent polished his legal and management skills as a member of the International Law Review, serving as a team leader. Brent also prepared for practice by participating in moot court competitions, placing as a finalist in an appellate advocacy competition.

Brent joined Hackney Grover in 2016, practicing general liability insurance litigation and insurance claims & coverage. Prior to joining Hackney Grover, Brent was a law clerk and associate attorney for the former Attorney General of Michigan.
