Nicole McCarthy practices in the Troy office of Hackney Grover. She attended Michigan State University where she obtained her political science degree. While studying at Michigan State she worked in the office of Former Michigan House Representative Kathleen Law. There, she first became acquainted with the importance of our state’s constitution, and the effects of a statute on the constituents of Michigan. Later, she worked in human resources in a manufacturing environment where she enjoyed working directly with refugees, and prison release employees to offer special assistance and guidance to help them integrate into the work force. She completed her legal education at Western Michigan Law School in Grand Rapids, in December of 2010. She began practicing law in 2011 and handles all litigated matters, but specializes her practice in the areas of No-Fault law including first-party, third-party and subrogation suits in state and federal court. She practices statewide, but lives in Royal Oak and enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Joey, and their children, Sloane and Louie.
