Stephen Foucrier received his Bachelor of Arts, majoring in history and minoring in anthropology, from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2008. He subsequently entered the workforce, but ultimately decided to pursue a career in the legal field. Stephen obtained his Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from Michigan State University College of Law in 2016. During law school, he worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Thomas P. Boyd of the Ingham County 55th District Court; as a student law clerk for the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services; and as a law clerk for two prominent civil ligation firms. Also as a student, Stephen participated in MSU’s Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute, which is a rigorous two-year litigation focused certificate program.
Following graduation from law school, Stephen served as a judicial law clerk/court officer to the Honorable Rosemarie E. Aquilina of the Ingham County 30th Circuit Court. He took the Michigan Bar in February 2017, and was formally admitted to practice law in Michigan on May 24, 2017. On July 10, 2017, he joined Hackney Grover as an associate attorney. Stephen presently focuses his practice in the areas of insurance defense—first and third-party No-Fault litigation, as well as premises liability litigation—and construction law.
In Stephen’s spare time . . . actually, he does not have spare time; Stephen has a 6-month old daughter.
